Fall 2009 Open House — Take Me to Paris

During the month of October, we transformed Advanced Beauty Care into a Paris-themed spa to celebrate our tenth anniversary. On Saturday, 17 October, we held an open house with more than 50 attendees. Guests were able to purchase Guinot beauty products, while indulging in French cheeses, relaxing with some Champagne, and enjoying French music.

During the open house, a representative from Guinot analyzed clients’ skin with a skin scanner machine, which uses black light to reveal unnoticed skin conditions. Based on the results, clients received an in-depth Guinot for Life skin consultation outlining how they could maximize the youthfulness of their skin.

Giving Back—Mills Peninsula Hospital Foundation — Women’s Center Breast Health Services

To mark the National Breast Cancer Awareness Month program, which is dedicated to increasing public knowledge about the importance of early detection of breast cancer, Advanced Beauty Care also held various fundraisers to benefit Mills Peninsula Hospital Foundation — Women’s Center Breast Health Services, a local organization focused on breast health. Open house attendees participated in a silent auction, a raffle, and an Eiffel Tower "kiss" competition, which together raised more than $1,000.00 for this local breast health organization.

Attendees were able to learn about two essential Guinot skin care products, Guinot Longue vie Cellulaire and the New Guinot Red Logic, that have helped clients preserve their skin as they underwent radiation therapy for breast cancer. Attendees also received a breast cancer pin and gift certificate for a complimentary firming neck and bust treatment with the purchase of Guinot Longue Vie Buste cream.
