With 30 years of professional experience in beauty therapy at exclusive salons and spas throughout the world, Sarah Jane Simons is at the forefront of holistic beauty care.

With significant experience in restorative facials, rejuvenating body treatments, and relaxing massage, Sarah Jane is a proven expert aesthetician and beauty therapist with a focus on delivering personalized care to her clients.

Education and Professional Training

Sarah Jane completed two years of full-time beauty therapy studies at Chichester College, one of only three colleges in the UK at the time offering the prestigious City and Guilds Diploma in Beauty Therapy. Her in-depth courses included anatomy, microbiology, kinesiology, nutrition, cosmetic chemistry, salon health and safety, physics, electrolysis, make-up, waxing, manicure, pedicure, body massage, body treatments, facial therapies. At the completion of her studies in 1987, she was also awarded the Business & Technology Education Council (B/TEC) National Diploma in Beauty Therapy.

To complement her college training with Guinot-specific instruction, Sarah Jane attended the Guinot training center in Ascot and received her Guinot diploma in 1987. She also trained and qualified with Clarins in Paris in 1987 and studied with G.M. Collin, a worldwide company known for applying the latest technology to develop innovative skin care products, in Paris in the same year.

To continue to enhance her beauty therapy expertise, Sarah Jane studied aromatherapy and seaweed spa therapies with AVANCE, a worldwide company focusing on naturally derived skin care, body care, and nutritional supplements. In addition, she is certified as a Reiki Level 1 practitioner.

Professional Experience

Sarah Jane began her career at a Guinot-appointed salon in Sussex, England, where she specialized in Guinot Hydradermie facial treatments and Swedish massage for three years. Then, with her extensive hands-on experience as a base, she moved her practice to a prestigious skin clinic and hotel spa in Bermuda for more than four years.

Relocating to the US in 1994, Sarah Jane headed the aesthetics team at a private spa in Sonoma, as well as pampered clients a major day spa in Silicon Valley.

In 1999, Sarah Jane founded Advanced Beauty Care to deliver sophisticated skin care with dependable results to her clients.

Professional Associations

Sarah Jane is a member of the Guild of Professional Beauty Therapists, the largest professional beauty trade body in the UK. She is also a member of the City and Guilds of London, UK’s leading vocational awarding body offering more than 500 qualifications in 28 industry sectors.
